✒ About me.

Hello hello, my name is Loris THIEBAUT (much sexier than LOLOLEKIK 👀) and I'm passionate about security, and more specifically about the research and development of offensive tools.

I finished my studies in 2023 with a BAC+6 — a triple cybersecurity degree delivered by CentraleSupelec, IMT Atlantique and Ynov Campus.

I'm currently on the Red Team at Mirakl, which lets me work on incredible topics and do research on subjects I'm passionate about.

I'm also the founder and president of Hack'In, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting cybersecurity in France by hosting an annual CTF featuring talks, beer, zero-day exploits, and food.

I also organize bi-monthly meetups with the DEF CON GROUP Paris where we have a few beers and talk security with like-minded people in a small group.

Finally, I'm a proud member of the ECHO team made up of my friends whom I love with all my heart 💙

I'll use this blog to (rarely) post stuff about my discoveries and things I think are cool.

✨ AI

I'm really interested in the new attack vectors AI can bring, and especially in the opportunities it opens up for automating offensive work.

So I maintain a project focused on automating offensive capabilities and more specifically research using AI.

The approach isn't just about building agents — it's mostly about merging the best practices and tools with AI agents.

🚩 Cybersecurity events

Overall I also spend a big chunk of my free time dreaming up and organizing ever-bigger events with ever-bigger ambitions.

We're lucky to live in a community of passionate people, and it's a golden opportunity to come together, share our research, and push the security level in France forward.

My goal is to give the best possible time to enthusiasts who are ready to give up their free time for something that basically looks like work.

You can find me at Hack'In or hanging out with the DEF CON GROUP Paris to share some beers and talk security!

I also try to show up as much as I can at community events to meet people, share my research (when I've got something to say), and learn new things.

🔬 Research

I really love the technical side — understanding things, digging into details, discovering how stuff actually works. I have a certain fascination for mastered subjects, precision, and "technical" rigor. Generally speaking, I love the "Try Harder" philosophy.

It's often considered the essence of Hacking, and we made it one of our core values at Hack'In, alongside "Passion" and "Sharing".

To that end we have quite a few internal research topics — we spend a lot of time looking for 0-days and new attack techniques to turn them into challenges for Hack'In.

🛞 Reinventing the wheel

Generally speaking, I like reinventing the wheel, whether it's to learn or to have fun, especially when people tell me it's pointless.

Whether it's rebuilding:
